Share and Expand Your Science Literacy and Teaching Tips

Welcome Educators,

Here is a place to find support and camaraderie in Science Education on Staten Island.  Whether you are a classroom teacher or lead programs in a nature center, zoo or museum setting, to ANY age group, please join the Staten Island Science Education Association (SISEA).

Develop and share your scientific knowledge and teaching experiences with other local Science Educators and Experts from a diverse group from local organizations.  Whatever your experience level, your contributions to the SISEA community would be appreciated.

What SISEA offers for you?
  • Find and collaborate on curriculum ideas
  • Learn about professional development opportunities
  • Discover field trip topics and locations
  • Hear about contests for your students to participate in
  • Learn about what projects other Science Educators are involved in!
Feel free to roam the web site to find out more about SISEA and attend a meeting to meet our members.  Please create an account using the link at the top to join in our message board and email us if you have any questions.  Presently the Staten Island Science Educators Association (SISEA) meets on monthly on Mondays in the Greenbelt Nature Center.
