Mission Statement:

To improve science education on Staten Island through collaborative opportunities.

Goals:

To improve science and environmental literacy
To improve provide collaborative and engaging programs, events, trips where ideas and information can be shared among participants and facilitators
To offer and share lesson plans and curriculum ideas
To provide networking experiences that bring together science educators with outside groups and organizations that provide special programs for schools and/or provide enriching experiences for teachers
To allow for practical and creative accredited professional development opportunities for different levels of education as members increase their own base knowledge of science
